Matthew's 5th Birthday!!!!

Matthew's build a bear spiderman. He really wanted this!!
He was excited for his new church shoes. Thanks Grandma.
Another fun gift from another fun Grandma!!
It looks to me like Matthew has Marcus in Ninja training. Matt is a little more into it than Marcus I think.
Mary and her best friend Halle. They run and throw their arms around eachother every time they see eachother.
Our wonderful neighbor Jaime and her adorable little boy Gabe taking Mary and Matt on a walk.
Mo dishing up the ice cream.
Our cute Hazel enjoying her birthday cake.
I love this picture of Mary and Halle the bowls look as big as they are!
Fun with friends and presents.
Our fun neighbor Cindy celebrating with us!

I am so blessed to have my sweet, sensitive, cuddly, funny, happy, attentive Matthew. He lets me know when I need to put on makeup and if i have enough eye shadow on. He is gentle and loves to be held. He has really discovered what it is to be a boy this last year. He is in to all things boy... Superheros, swords, ninjas, cars etc. He is also incredibly smart and doing very well in Pre Kindergarten. He loves to play outside and with friends. He has graduated himself from naps most days and only every few days does he gladly go up stairs and go to sleep after lunch. His favorite food is Macaroni and Cheese. He wants it every meal, except for his birthday breakfast which he wanted homemade cinnamon rolls. He loves to be just like Morgan, I rolled up his church shirt sleeves and he said "Do it just like Dad's" then he wanted to play house so he could pretend to be like Mo. He recently got a pink polo shirt just like Morgan's and they have to wear it on the same day! He keeps things lively and fun here and we all adore him. He still has a small heart murmur but that doesn't hold him back. I told him about that the other day and the next day when he didn't get what he wanted he told me his hole in his heart is tearing and breaking. I gave in of course, how do you stay firm against that? We love you Matt!!!

Long time, No post!

Batman 1 and 2!!!

Is he Bruce Wayne or is he the Dark Knight?
A rare warm, wonderful day!
Matthew just won a year membership to the zoo for perfect attendance!
Oh, the chopsticks! They saw Kung Fu Panda and the rest is history. It took Matt 1 hour to eat noodles, but he did it! You've got to give him props for dilligence.
He refuses to let me help him. He has to do it ALL by himself. And you see the result.
We went to Matt's winter program. He did a great job singing and we got to make a candy house.
I LOVE this little guy so much.

Matt's new obsession is "Teamate newmate ninja turtles" He loves Donatello and Mo found the game. He lives for it and 2 weeks in a row he has suggested it for our Family Home Evening activity.
Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman, small small small!! But the time she got home it was to cold to pack the snow so they improvised. But at least Dad kept his promise!
I was just checking on her during her nap.
Christmas morning waiting to come down.
The traditional Christmas Pajamas
Our Nativity!

Hazel singing in her school's winter program.
Rudolph1

Needless to say he didn't get what he wanted!

Halloween, Hazel's Birthday and Gingerbread on Parade!

Ok so here is the Czech Church Vysehrad!! It was really fun to do and we were so glad to have it safely delivered to the Kanesville Tabernacle.
Morgan had the ingenious idea to cut candy bars through the middle to look like stones.

Well Hazel is now 6 and was so happy to open her presents. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma.

Hazel's good friend Alex brought her a cute gift. SO Sweet!

Make A Wish!! Once we saw this picture Morgan and I wondered what in the world is wrong with this banana split? Can't we splurge on a birthday at least? What is that? A half a cup of ice cream? Ah well, she just wanted the candle anyway.

This is our attempt of recreating Leatherby's Family Creamery. This was her wish. She said if we were in Utah that is where she would go for her birthday so Morgan made posters, I made soup in bread bowls like she always orders and we had her favorite banana splits! It was fun.

He is so talented. Here are his posters. Thanks Dad Another great poster to create the atmosphere.

We took doughnuts and cider to her kindergarten class this is Mrs. Callahan and the students singing to Hazel.

Wow did they score or what? We still have most of this in a bag put away. I think we will still have some to hand out next year. HAHA

So we may have traced it but I am still proud of my carving!!

I loved this I thought it was SO cute.
Our friends had us over Halloween night for dinner. We had a great time!! Here are our kids and Will the lion and Madison the camoflauge princess.

Sleeping Beauty is exhausted and she collapsed after trick or treating right on the floor. It may take more than true loves kiss to wake this Aurora.

We met Dorothy at the zoo for trick or treating with her class. She was perfect!! She worked all day on clicking her shoes and by the time we met her that afternoon she had the old "there's no place like home" down.. She was so proud.

Here is Peter Parker or "Spiderman" with his teacher Miss Stephanie.

Marcus has had it!!!! First a super man and then a monkey, he needs another nap to get through all this dressing up.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's SUPERMAN!!!! Has there EVER been a cuter picture? Oh, I just LOVE my little boy. He cracks me up.
