Halloween, Hazel's Birthday and Gingerbread on Parade!

Ok so here is the Czech Church Vysehrad!! It was really fun to do and we were so glad to have it safely delivered to the Kanesville Tabernacle.
Morgan had the ingenious idea to cut candy bars through the middle to look like stones.

Well Hazel is now 6 and was so happy to open her presents. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma.

Hazel's good friend Alex brought her a cute gift. SO Sweet!

Make A Wish!! Once we saw this picture Morgan and I wondered what in the world is wrong with this banana split? Can't we splurge on a birthday at least? What is that? A half a cup of ice cream? Ah well, she just wanted the candle anyway.

This is our attempt of recreating Leatherby's Family Creamery. This was her wish. She said if we were in Utah that is where she would go for her birthday so Morgan made posters, I made soup in bread bowls like she always orders and we had her favorite banana splits! It was fun.

He is so talented. Here are his posters. Thanks Dad Another great poster to create the atmosphere.

We took doughnuts and cider to her kindergarten class this is Mrs. Callahan and the students singing to Hazel.

Wow did they score or what? We still have most of this in a bag put away. I think we will still have some to hand out next year. HAHA

So we may have traced it but I am still proud of my carving!!

I loved this I thought it was SO cute.
Our friends had us over Halloween night for dinner. We had a great time!! Here are our kids and Will the lion and Madison the camoflauge princess.

Sleeping Beauty is exhausted and she collapsed after trick or treating right on the floor. It may take more than true loves kiss to wake this Aurora.

We met Dorothy at the zoo for trick or treating with her class. She was perfect!! She worked all day on clicking her shoes and by the time we met her that afternoon she had the old "there's no place like home" down.. She was so proud.

Here is Peter Parker or "Spiderman" with his teacher Miss Stephanie.

Marcus has had it!!!! First a super man and then a monkey, he needs another nap to get through all this dressing up.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's SUPERMAN!!!! Has there EVER been a cuter picture? Oh, I just LOVE my little boy. He cracks me up.

How fun! I love the Leatherbys idea, mom's soup tastes better anyways. And the candle on a banana split-inspired. What a busy season. I love the kids' costumes. The gingerbread house is very impressive. I don't think they ever had or will ever have a Czech Church Vysehrad at the Kanesville tabernacle again.

I want that picture of Marcus hanging on my wall...that is the most adorable thing ever! Although it might be the creepiest thing ever if I have someone else's kid on my wall so I might just have to soak him up when I see him. And thank goodness for blogging...with this cold weather coming along, this may be the closest we get to seeing eachother! PS...love the gingerbread house...Morgan might be on the wrong track with this law stuff....Martha could use him!

Holy Moly - you do still exist!! I have wondered about you and your adorable family for a good while now. And oh, your family is so adorable. By the way, this is Heather (King) Morris - went to school with Morgan. It's funny what you find in this blogging world. Morgan, Morgan, Morgan, I have wanted to thank you for YEARS now, but never knew how to get a hold of you or anything. In 2006 we were moving back to Utah from South Carolina, and upon packing I found a letter, as I was reading it I thought, oh, this is so nice (thinking it was from Brady), as he would write me lots of letters in my high school rough days - w/ that "one guy" - the letter was from you. You were so concerned about me, my well-being and our friendship. I have wanted to thank you for that for so long. I know I put a lot of our friends through the ringer for a time - but Thank You for your kindness way back when!!! What in the world are you up to? It's so fun to see everyone all grown up with kids and families of their own. And speaking of - I gotta run and see what mine are getting into. Hope to chat lata' . . .:)
